I had my first Investment club 1.0 workshop last weekend and it was a blast (even if I say so myself) :-) Now, those who attended workshop got an invite because they indicated interest. Don't think I didn't invite you on purpose. In my previous post here, I shared three ways to earn additional income without going crazy. One of the practical ways I shared was to start an investment club. An investment club enables you pool resources with friends or family, invest in bigger deals, earn higher returns and spread risks. Those who indicated interest got an invite to attend the workshop and we had a great time learning from each other. Key highlights of the workshop include

We also delved into understanding what the economy was saying. Is this really a bad time to make an investment or is this the best time? What do you think? According to the Nigerian bureau of statistics (NBS), Inflation rate increased by 1.9 percent to 15.6% last month (May). The deregulation of the downstream sector of the oil industry pushed the country’s inflation rate to an 80-month high. If you're still keeping your money in the bank to earn interest at 3-4%. You're actually earning negative returns.  So, you're better off investing. What's your investment personality? Are you a Warren Buffet or a Donald Trump? Warren Buffet is deliberate while Donald Trump puts his name on it. :-D     I was delighted to get feedback on the workshop.       What do you plan to do with the money in your savings account this year? How do you plan to create streams of additional income? Invest in yourself, invest in a great business opportunity or financial instrument? Whatever you do, don't leave the money in a bank account to earn negative returns. Get on the wealth program. Stop stalling.
